Each of the the winners of first place will receive their registration fee for the tournament in Hot Springs set for Ocober 31 and November 1st 2015 paid for by the War Memorial Golf Association in the sum of $125.00 this year.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT SEPTEMBER 26 AND SEPTEMBER 27, 2015 BEGINNING AT 8:00AM EACH DAY

The 2015 Club Championship will be held SEPTEMBER 26, 2015 and  SEPTEMBER 27, 2015 beginning at 8:00A.M. each day at the War Memorial Golf Course.  Contestants will be not be charged greens fees. If they want a cart, that will be their only expense of $12.00 for 18 holes. There will be the same divisions that exist at the championship competition in Hot Springs which will be October 31 and November 1. Championship, Mid Senior, Senior, and Super Senior  Divisions. There will be men and women divisions and there may or not be all divisions depending on whether or not members sign up. Winners of the various divisions of the Club Championship will go on to represent the War Memorial Golf Association in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Centennial Club champions Tournament will be as follows:

HOT SPRINGS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS IS DONE

Some of you may remember that the Tournament of Champions was held in Hot Springs, Arkansas at the Hot Springs Country Club in November. Congratulations go to Colin Osment, Danny Hill, and Yvette Hines for representing the War Memorial Golf Association at the Hot Springs Tournament. Everyone was a winner in Hot Springs, a tournament put on by the ASGA and sponsored by SRIXON who gave I believe 4 dozen SRIXON golf balls to each participant in the two day tournament on Saturday and Sunday. I have printed out the scores listed in Tuesday's Democrat Gazette.  Each of our winners has their name on the Trophy in the Club House. Come take a look. Someday you too may be engraved on the sought after prize of War Memorial Golf Course. I understand one of the holes was as challenging if not more so than our number one since the ball had a tendancy to slide off the green and all the way back down to the fairway for some of the golfers.

News and Reports From the War Memorial Golf Association and events at the War Memorial Golf COURSE in Little Rock, Arkansas

The 2014 War Memorial Golf Association Club Championship drew twelve contestants in three flights to compete for the chance to represent the War Memorial Golf Association in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

The Tournament of Champions will be November 8th and 9th at the ASGA Tournament of Champions at the Hot Springs Country Club where it was held last year.

Champions of the 2014 War Memorial Golf Association Club Championship are:

Colin Osment Championship Flight shot a 77 on 9/6 and an 80 on 9/7 for a 36 hole total of 157

Danny Hill  Men's Senior Flight scoring a 71 on 9/6 and a 67 on 9/7 for a 36 hole total of 138

Yvette Hines Women's Senior Flight shot an 87 on 9/6 and 84 on 9/7 for a 36 hole total of 171
