Two-Person Scramble/

Four-Ball

War Memorial Golf Course

Saturday and Sunday

December 4-5
Format: 36 holes at Stroke Play. Two-Person Teams - Scramble on Saturday, Four-Ball on Sunday.

You are cordially invited to play in the 2010 Christmas in the Park tournament to be held December 4 and 5 at War Memorial Golf Course. Attached is the tournament flyer and entry form. This year we will again be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots drive which will be held nearby at Toy Hill. We ask that you bring a toy (or two) to place under the Christmas tree in the clubhouse on the first day of the tournament. We will deliver the toys to the Marine Corps delivery station at nearby Toy Hill. Your contributions in the past have no doubt brightened the spirits of many children. Please share your generosity and Christmas spirit again this year by supporting Toys for Tots!

We hope you'll join us!

Senior Scramble Makes The Big Time

Every so often at the War Memorial Golf Course there comes along a Senior Scramble for golfers 55 and over-usually its at least every other week? Anyway, we had one last week on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 and there will be another one October 27, 2010 starting at 9AM. Scores were posted in the Thursday October 14, 2010 edition of the Arkansas Gazette page 7C titled Scoreboard under the heading "Local Results" under the Golf heading: I've added the first names of some of the players. First place won a sleeve of golf balls. 2nd and third place teams won 1 golf ball and a ball marker.
